The Jet 3-Pocket Inner Filter (aftermarket) is a replacement inner filter designed for use with the Jet Air Filtration System (#AFS-1000B). Product Description High Efficiency Replacement Multi-Pocket Bag Filters for Jet and Grizzly shop air filters. These are the most economical solution for high efficiency air filtration. Superior performance results from using the highest quality materials available: High Dust holding - and efficiency results from our lofted microfiber polypropylene. Electrostatically charged microfibers are lofted in randomized web to create the maximum filtering surface area. Galvanized steel - provides strength and resists corrosion. Non-carcinogenic synthetic media - resists microbial growth. Spunbond scrim layers sandwich the meltblown media to increase tensile strength and prevent tearing or puncturing. Consistent Performance - Independent testing shows that the Rigid Cell performs in the rated efficiency from installation to replacement. Other filters may take months to build up to the rated efficiency. Resists Damage - 26 gauge galvanized steel frame is clinched at every corner for maximum rigidity. Robust plastic separators extend under flanges to prevent pleat pack bowing and blowout. Synthetic media has a scrim backing for abrasion and puncture resistance. Metal cover strips - are glued over each adjoining pocket. This eliminates the possibility of dust bypass between pockets where staples or clinches are traditionally used. These cover strips also provide added structural integrity to keep the filter pack from blowing out. A "U" channel header - allows the pocket support channels to extend into the full 13/16" depth of the header to sandwich the media between the pocket support channels and the header. An adhesive is applied inside the header where the metals compress and hold the media.
